Shudha Prem - Pure Love

Shudha Prem - Pure Love

The inspiration for this artwork comes from a mythological story I just recently read about the Hindu God Krishna and his beloved Radha. Painting these two together, was a divine feeling and I enjoyed creating the artworks a lot. There are a number of stories that go along with Krishna and Radha, some of them being highly contradictory and controversial, hence I would not like to get into the religious aspect of these artworks.

Shudha Prem - Pure Love is a polyptych of 4 artworks together in a series where you are able to experience the pure love between Radha and Krishna in each panel. The whole polyptych if put together to form a square has dimensions of 56" by 56" The artworks are of 14" by 14" each and can be directly hung on the wall without the need of any fixtures. Two small nails stuck into the wall can do the trick, for each panel. These artworks can be hung in any order or fashion, as per your liking - You can hang them in a straight line horizontally or vertically one below the other. They can also be hung at different heights to give the wall a fuller and more interesting look, it is totally up to you, the collector to decide. The artwork sides have been painted so that framing is not necessary, but again that is up to the collector to decide.

For all those Indian folk artwork collectors out there, this could be an awesome addition to your collection.
